Baptism

Acts 2:38-39 says "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off- for all whom the Lord our God will call."

At FMC Hereford we believe that God calls on all to be baptized therefore we believe in both infant and adult baptism. We practice 3 different modes of baptism because we see imagery for all three in scripture. (Immersion: Romans 6:3-4, Sprinkling: Ezekiel 36:25-27, and Pouring: Acts 2:17-18) If you an interested in being baptized fill out an interest form below.

John 3:16

Galatians 3:27

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ

Matthew 28:19

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name

Acts 2:47
